MARION — The Marion Merchants youth baseball teams ended their summer seasons over the weekend.The 16U squad finished it up by winning the Findlay Liberty Benton Turf Tuff Tournament. In pool play, the Merchants beat the Toledo South End Braves 10-0 and tied the Defiance Area Assassins 5-5. In more pool play, the locals defeated North West Ohio Buckeye Elite 5-1, and in the championship game defeated the Hilliard Colts 16U Elite 15-11.The Marion Merchants 16U squad finished its tournament season at 28-6-1.
