It was back into the fire for Richmond Heights and Gilmour in the midst of summer league basketball. The Spartans and Lancers participated in the Midwest Live event held at Cedar Point Sports Center on June 25 and 26. With premier teams from Ohio and Michigan, it was a chance for the returning state finalists to get a head start on their chemistry. The Spartans are coming off of their first state championship in school history, while the Lancers reached the state final for the first time since 1992.
